Runs hot.

My 2001 ZX3 seems to run hot. I have a 40 mile commute and driving home in slow bumper to bumper traffic makes the temp gauge start to rise. I just replaced the top radiator hose because it was leaking under the hose clamp up at the radiator connection, but the car still runs hot. The thermostat seems fine as I do see the temp drop as it dumps the coolant, but the temp just keeps climbing eventually. Running the AC helps keep it cooler, so I'm thinking that I just don't get the air cooling through the radiator that it needs. Has anybody else experienced this? Any thoughts to getting more air flow while rolling slow in traffic?

do you know if the fan is coming on?

check for faulty sensors like coolant temp or check the sensor on top of your thermostat housing under the coil pack i went through the same thing in mine
